It was the wrecking ball seen around the world—Miley Cyrus’s music video for her 2013 single "Wrecking Ball" had countless people rushing to YouTube after getting asked if they'd seen it yet. And at this Sunday's 2014 MTV Video Music Awards it's up for Video of the Year.
The music video came out right after her racy, buzzy (to say the least) "Blurred Lines" performance with Robin Thicke at last year's VMAs. And her release of "Wrecking Ball" verified that we were witnessing a whole new, badass Cyrus—there was no holding back. In it, a barely-dressed, oftentimes nude, and red-lipstick-wearing Cyrus was holding on to a swinging wrecking ball as it teared down the walls around her. We also got a peek at Cyrus's more personal side as the singer got teary and emotional in the footage. However, the video, which currently has nearly 700 million views on YouTube, seems to have only have made the artist stronger.
While we wait and see if she will take home a Moonman for Video of the Year on Sunday (the show starts at 9 p.m. ET on MTV), check out the video below and then click ahead to see Miley's most memorable fashion moments ever.
