Gucci may have single-handedly ushered in a new era of maximalism, but some people still prefer pared-down, simple pieces to, say, fur-lined loafers with floral embroidery. For those who crave something well-made that isn't guaranteed to go out of style by next season, Cuyana and La Ligne are probably familiar names in your style repertoire (or at least they should be). Now, the two direct-to-consumer brands, beloved by celebrities like Jessica Alba and Allison Williams for their easy-to-wear basics, are teaming up on a capsule collection of travel-inspired pieces, launching today.
La Ligne x Cuyana includes four pieces—a silky wide-leg pant, a striped T-shirt, a suede hobo bag, and a double-zip pouch—priced from $115 to $395. "We're traveling for work constantly, so these pieces feel second nature to us," says La Ligne co-founder Meredith Melling. "They allow all women to travel with ease and style." Adds Cuyana co-founder Shilpa Shah, "It was a joy to work with La Ligne given our shared sensibilities: clean, modern, thoughtfully designed product for the modern woman."
