There's something to be said about comfort clothing—a silhouette, fabric, or shade that's as versatile as it is dependable and never falls short or fails to flatter in its delivery. For Jennifer Aniston, her sartorial comfort manifests in the form of a terrific little black dress.
Thus, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that for a Cake party thrown in her honor by Perrier-Jouët and Cinelou Films at the Chateau Marmont's Bar Marmont last Friday, Aniston selected a LBD, styled with strands of black beads, black tights, and black boots. "I love a little black dress," she previously told InStyle. "It’s a great, wonderful, fun, easy piece of clothing to have."
There was a recent, albeit short-lived, streak of non-black numbers on the red carpet that ranged from pink to peek-a-boo red, but given Aniston's proclivity for LBDs (see: her impressive track record for proof), it was only a matter of time before the LBD resumed its role as her go-to. And she's never looked better.
