America Ferrera's Changing Looks
The El Camino High School junior had her own team of hairdressers: "My [four] sisters dried my hair for me until I was 14, and then I finally started drying my own."
Ferrera had her breakout role in Real Women Have Curves, but stuck to a decidedly non-diva beauty routine: "All through high school I washed my face with soap and water."
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star showed off some careful curls: "I like Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious cream because it keeps [my hair] moisturized, and I have a nice Ionic T3 blow-dryer."
The shorthaired star debuted some serious eyebrow extensions on Ugly Betty. In real life? "I don't shape my own brows. That would be a disaster. I like Damone Roberts in L.A. My sister is also very good at doing eyebrows."
Ferrera scored both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her small-screen role.
The hardworking actress reprised her role as Carmen in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and filmed yet another season of Ugly Betty.
Ferrera went Old Hollywood glam for the red carpet, although, she has told us: "I don't wear makeup when I'm not working."
At Sundance, Ferrera feathered her shiny locks and upped the gleam with clear lip gloss.
The actress donned an elegant side bun and a rosey lip color for the End of Watch premiere.
Ferrera sported soft curls and a bronzed glow at the 2013 Miscast gala.
The actress kept it simple with neutral makeup and a wispy updo for the premiere of Cesar Chavez in Berlin.
