Even if your invite got lost in the mail, you can still get a sneak peek inside the White House Christmas party thanks to Sophia Bush. The 34-year-old actress and activist attended the annual soiree last night, looking festive in a lovely white dress, and she shared several great pictures from the unforgettable evening.
Yesterday's event marks the eighth and final celebration hosted by President Obama and his family, and Bush, an avid supporter of the outgoing leader, was there to express her gratitude. The former One Tree Hill star attended the event wearing a sparkly off-white dress that came down to her knees. Bush showed off her figure with a gold belt cinching her waist, and she paired the classy ensemble with pointy white pumps and a matching clutch. Her hair was slicked back, showing off her delicate drop earrings, as she welcomed the holidays.
Bush shared a number of images from the event, including one of herself and Kind Campaign founder Lauren Paul as they posed in front of the gift-themed entry. The actress captioned the image with, "The last White House Christmas party with the Obamas. Tears. Laughter. Gratitude. Thank you thank you thank you."
She also posted a picture of President Obama as he addressed his guests while standing in front of a massive Christmas tree! It looks like a great time was had by all.
"My hope is that what you take away from these last eight years, is your power and your capacity to make change that improves the lives of the American people. Because, I've said this before, the most important Office in a Democracy is The Office Of CITIZEN. And that doesn't change before or after an election." @barackobama • A thousand times, yes. Thank you Mr. President
