Gabrielle Union has yet another title for her boundless list. In addition to actress, author, advocate, activist, social media star, stepmother, and wife, the 45-year-old can now add “tastemaker” to the lot.

Union, whose latest achievement comes at the heels of her critically acclaimed book of essays We’re Going to Need More Wine, has partnered with Shutterfly to launch a gorgeous (and affordable!) line of home goods that are perfect for the holiday season.

In a brief address during an event at The Grammercy Park Hotel on Monday, Gabrielle spoke to her collection, telling guests that she had gotten in a gifting rut, giving bottles of alcohol for every occasion, but has since reformed with a little help from Shutterfly.

“A lot of the gifts that I came up with are things that I secretly want people to give me,” Union said of the pieces.

“I have an obsession with throws,” she shared, “but I hate a throw that’s just decorative, that’s not actually warm. You’re like, ‘OK, I look cute, but I’m freezing.’” Enter: Shutterfly’s cozy Sherpa blanket (see below).

Union described the collection as “amazing gifts that sort of reflect the things I love—like myself!” she joked, pointing at a black-and-white canvas print from her wedding day (see below).

“[Shutterfly] kind of gives you an outlet, like ‘What can I do with these great pictures that are saved on my phone or saved in my camera? What can I do with those?’ I can turn them into tiles, I can sort of reincorporate them into our house in cool and fun and creative ways—and they’re also great gifts!” Gabrielle said of her personalized collaboration with Shutterfly.
