While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge practically make headlines each time they step out, it is a bit more rare to see these two attending a red carpet event. Kensington Palace tea parties are more their speed than a high-fashion award show, which is why their confirmed appearance at the 2017 BAFTAs is so exciting.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced on Friday that Prince William and Kate Middleton will walk the red carpet at London's Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, Feb. 12. Even better, Prince William will get on stage to present the Fellowship, the highest accolade bestowed by the British Film Academy.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are fantastic supporters of BAFTA. We very much look forward to welcoming Their Royal Highnesses at the EE British Academy Film Awards," they said in a release.
The last time the two walked the red carpet together was back in 2015 (above), when they attended the Royal Film Performance of Spectre, also held at the Royal Albert Hall.
Marking our calendars now so we don't miss what's sure to be a flawless fashion choice by the duchess.
