The annual In Style/Hollywood Foreign Press Association bash drew a who's who of celebrities in town to promote their films at the Toronto International Film Festival. Jessica Alba-who rocked a vintage Rolling Stones T-shirt-led the A-list parade into the Windsor Arms Hotel, where star attractions like Jude Law, Mark Ruffalo and Paris Hilton congregated at the intimate banquettes to enjoy a rare night off. "I'm in Toronto shooting The Love Guru with Mike Myers," Alba revealed. "[Mike]'s great. We laugh all the time."

Paris Hilton wafted in to the bash and proudly struck her signature pose-hand firmly locked on hip-in a sequined French Connection dress and a sizable pair of Chanel earrings. "They sent me a bunch of stuff and I really like it," said the heiress of her hot frock. Hilton is in town filming the horror musical Repo! The Genetic Opera.

Despite getting off to a late start at the festival-thanks to a flight delay-Sleuth star Jude Law arrived at the HFPA party right on time and with an extensive entourage in tow. The dashing Brit later talked shop with Jessica Alba and super-producer Harvey Weinstein before greeting Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix with a friendly bear hug.

Mark Ruffalo was one of the early arrivals at the soiree, where he revealed that he and wife Sunrise Coigney-who owns hip L.A. boutique Kaviar and Kind-are expecting their third child. "I'm a pretty low key guy so I'm not much for glitter and glitz. A little of that goes a long way I find," the Reservation Road star said of his rare night out on the town.

Looking chic in Chanel, Ruffalo's Reservation Road co-star Mira Sorvino-who arrived on the arm of husband Christopher Backus-was also talking parenthood. "I've been doing the mommy thing for a while so it's nice to come back," said Sorvino. "I'm so proud to be a part of this movie."

"I was in a really formal dress earlier from the premiere of All Hat," quick change artist Rachael Leigh Cook explained. "I changed into this because I have formal hair so I had to even it out." Cook fit right in with the decor of the elegant Windsor Arms Hotel, where a Raphaellite fresco presided over all of the glamorous party's guests, among them Rhada Mitchell, Amber Tamblyn and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Though he did not have a movie to promote, actor and Will & Grace alum Eric McCormack got busy plugging his native Toronto. "It's the best of a lot of worlds. We have a European feel, but at the same time we're like Canada's New York," said the star. "We're the biggest city in the country and we have a very urban vibe too!"

In town with her TIFF offering, Married Life, Patricia Clarkson kept busy, catching up with Sir Ben Kingsley first, then moving on to greet David Schwimmer and John Leguizamo. The social star wore a chic ensemble by Chanel for the occasion.

A totally casual Jesse Bradford-in town filming the action thriller, Sigaw-was one of the guy guests determined to start a trucker hat revival. Eric Bana and David Schwimmer also sported the style as they mingled and munched on manly fare like risotto balls and deep fried onion rings.
